Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Dr. Brittany Davis moved to Colorado to obtain her Bacholor’s degree in Equine Sciences with a special interest in equine nutrition before going on to complete her veterinary medical degree at Colorado State University. Dr. Davis worked for a large equine reproduction facility in Fort Collins where she gained knowledge and experience in equine reproduction techniques. After vet school, Dr. Davis completed a one-year internship at the esteemed Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center in Los Olivos, CA focusing on medicine, surgery and advanced imaging. Here she also gained exceptional experience in regenerative medicine techniques, primarily bone marrow derived stem cells in a variety of applications.
Immediately after her internship Dr. Davis joined a two-doctor equine practice in northern California, enjoying the exciting and rewarding career of a field veterinarian. Eager to get back to the northwest, Dr. Davis joined Evergreen Equine in July 2013. She is currently focused on serving the performance horse in a variety of health and soundness aspects, including gastroscopy exams, gait evaluations, and enhanced performance through nutrition. Outside of work, Dr. Davis and her husband can usually be found outdoors — hiking, biking, running, snowboarding or catching a Mariners game. But she is happiest aboard one of her two Arabian horses training for the next 100-mile endurance ride!
